If I deleted songs or photos from Itunes would they be erased from the Ipod next time I plug it to the PC?
I want to delete a lot of albums to free space in my hard drive but I want the songs to remain in the Ipod. Would they be erased next time I try to put new songs?

Best answer for you:
Yes, if you have set iTunes to Auto-Sync your iPod, the music on your iPod will lose. If you want to make sure your music remains on your iPod, you should first connect your iPod, then select the option to manually sync your iPod’s music and video.

Also, keep in mind that syncing in iTunes is a one-way process: you can’t sync music from your iPod to your computer unless you sync the files like a standard hard drive. I’d suggest looking into an external hard drive that you can use to store your iTunes music files.

But the best solution and safe way for your is backup your iPod music and video to computer first. Then you can get it back to your iPod or iTunes whenever your want it.
